The Board asked the membership to vote on her proposal to postpone the 2018 elections and allow the current board to work out plans to restructure the board.

The results of the vote have been counted:

  • YES: 89
  • NO: 3

There is a quorum (92 out of 117 members that are allowed to vote have voted). Therefore the proposal is accepted.

This means that the 2018 elections are suspended and the three board members, whose terms are up, are allowed to remain on the board throughout the next year. The challenges that face the board will be addressed at this year’s membership meeting and worked out throughout the coming year.
