Bianca Peeters
My name is Bianca Peeters.
For the past six years I have served on the board of ITC and I would like to continue serving for another period.
I fully support the endeavors of ITC as presented in the purposes because I see all activities in the light of Theosophy as actions from one theosophical movement. For this movement to be able to really impact the buddhic core of every being it is essential that there is sincere, honest and respectful communication between theosophists. ITC is offering a platform to meet and communicate. This is a necessary tool to accomplish cross-pollination amongst individuals who are looking for ways to help mankind understand the unity of existence and its potential for the world as it was explained by H.P.B. and her Masters. By practicing unity, ITC can be a powerful example.
Over the years the ITC conferences have developed into meetings where participants experience that they are part of this one Theosophical movement and can explore together how they can make theosophy a living power. As a result of the yearly conferences individuals from different theosophical backgrounds build relationships and organize joint activities. I want to do whatever is necessary to support this process of growing cooperation.
In the past six years I served the Board in the capacity of secretary. As such I prepared our meetings and took notes of our monthly meetings, helped to put the election process in place and supported the production of our newsletter, The Bee.
But above all, I learned to listen and to reflect, together with the Board, on how to develop ITC as an instrument for the Theosophical movement.
There is still a long way to go for mankind to bring out their buddhic qualities and this indicates the heavy duty that theosophists have. To be able to carry out our task, we need each other, we need to be united in spirit. ITC can help facilitate this and I hope to support that as a member and board member.
