ULT associate speaks at annual international convention in Adyar

For some years now the Theosophical Society-Adyar, during its Annual International Convention, next to speakers from its own ranks also invites speakers from other Theosophical main-streams or representatives from International Theosophy Conferences. (ITC)

Recent invitees were: Gene Jennings (ULT student and ITC’s President), Herman C. Vermeulen, (Leader of the TS-Point Loma and ITC’s Vice-President), Barend Voorham (TS-Point Loma) and Carolyn Dorrance (ULT student).

The theme of this year’s Annual Convention, held from December 31, 2017 – January 5, 2018, is From Teachings to Insight: The Altruistic Heart.

This time Jonathan Colbert (ITC board-member and ULT student) and Jan Nicolaas Kind (Adyar member and ITC’s Vice-President) will be part of the Convention’s program.

On Monday January 1, Jonathan will deliver a talk entitled “Meditation, Self-Study and the Therapeutics of Speech”, while Jan, on Tuesday January 2, will moderate a panel whereby the panel members will share their  thoughts regarding the Mission, Purpose and Scope of the TS.
