International Theosophy Conferences Inc. is a platform where Theosophical organizations and all other earnest students of Theosophy meet. This infers that ITC won’t typically function as another Theosophical vehicle, in spreading Theosophy itself. Instead ITC is committed to connect all Theosophists, supporting them in their common cause in the light of the purposes of ITC, which are:
- To maintain the principles of the Modern Theosophical Movement presented by H. P. B. as a living power in the minds and hearts of Humanity, encouraging explorations in the light of her teachings.
- To foster mutual meaningful intercommunication, understanding and respect among the Theosophical mainstreams, stimulating thereby continuous spiritual Unity.
- To be a platform, supporting and sponsoring the annual international Conference of Theosophical Organizations.
- To unite people in sharing the Philosophy of Theosophy, studying and further exploring Religion, Philosophy and Science from a Theosophical Perspective.
Greetings from around the world

Although not physically present, we will be attuned to you in hearts and minds. We are all linked together through our shared commitment, study and dedication to the work for the Theosophical Society.
May the wonderful energies raised during these special days uplift and inspire all beings worldwide.

Warmest greetings and best wishes for an uplifting conference. ITC’s commitment to connect all Theosophists has a great role in forming a Nucleus of Universal Brotherhood. A true nucleus is empowered by harmony reflecting the entire environment. May the conference be a success and strengthen the spiritual aspect for harmony in the humanity.

International Secretary of the TS Adyar
These greetings come to you from those in Europe, the US and elsewhere, who are involved in planning a conference in London about a famous but controversial Theosophist – Annie Besant. This will be at the (Adyar)Theosophical Society national headquarters at 50 Gloucester Place, London W1U 8EA. on 30 September- 1st October 2017.
Although the event is organised by the TS in England, most papers are selected by a Programme Committee. The first day is concerned chiefly with AB’s public work as a campaigner for social change. before she joined the T.S; the second day with aspects of her Theosophical work.
Annie Besant was no stranger to Philadelphia. One of us has noted the following visits:
December 4, 1891: Theosophy and Occultism (Musical Fund Hall, Philadelphia)
February 8, 1893: Theosophy and Christianity (St. George’s Hall, Philadelphia)
April 2, 1897: The Evolution of the Soul (New Century Club, Philadelphia)
September 27, 1907: Psychism and Spirituality (Musical Fund Hall, Philadelphia)
September 28, 1907: Theosophy in Daily Life (Fuller Building, Philadelphia; afternoon; with questions and answers)
September 28, 1907: The Nature, Methods, and Laws of Intercommunication between the Worlds (Fuller Building, Philadelphia; evening; members only; with questions and answers
November 7, 1926: The World Teacher [probably; or Shall India Live or Die?] (Academy of Music, Philadelphia)
In sending warm and brotherly wishes to all, as the ITC continues with its work to connect all Theosophists, supporting them in their common cause in the light of the purposes of ITC, we trust you will wish success to our own endeavour, which seeks to promote the harmonious study of the many faceted work of a leading Adyar Theosophist.
Warmest greetings from Ireland.
On behalf of myself and all the Theosophical members in Ireland…I send heartfelt greetings to you, to all the speakers and delegates gathered together for this special International Theosophy Conference August 10- 13.
May the well chosen theme, ‘A Nucleus of Universal Brotherhood – World’s Healing Force’ engender much soul searching, sharing and insight for a subject so much needed in today’s world. This is also the dearest wish of The Holy Ones for our planet.
May The lovely, uplifting and inspiring energies raised, radiate outwards to raise the consciousness of all beings.
May THEIR blessing be with you all.
With love & warmest fraternal regards,
– Marie Harkness, Organising Secretary of the Theosophical Society in Ireland
Dear ITC friends,
I send best wishes to you for a wonderful conference. The Theme of Universal Brotherhood, the World’s Healing Force is most appropriate for these difficult times. I am sorry that I cannot participate physically but will send thoughts of fellowship and mutual respect as you build an atmosphere of unity and inspiration. I have absolute trust in the occult law that the energy of spiritual seekers united in purpose MUST permeate the surrounding area and contribute to the great guardian wall of protection for humankind.
Godspeed in your mission.
– Betty Bland, former TSA president
Dear friends, brothers and sisters at the International Theosophy Conference, aiming at the bringing of harmony to a divided humanity, by studying and working together.
The subject of your inspiring meetings this year is A Nucleus of Universal Brotherhood – World’s Healing Force.
At the International Theosophical Centre (ITC) in Naarden, the Netherlands, we are using a peace meditation, from which I would like to paraphrase some lines as my wish for our world, and for the meetings in Philadelphia.
United in our common dedication, with whole our heart we aspire to help to transmit the living powers of Unity and Peace, emanating from the theosophical movement, to the world at large. Let us think of all countries in the world: that our governments may learn to co-operate with each other, and so stimulate the integration of the whole world.
There is One Life, One Will and One Brotherhood of Nations. May the spirit of Unity and Love, that knows no barriers, make Brotherhood in the world a living reality…
Warmest greetings, Els Rijneker, the Netherlands
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
On behalf of the Theosophical Society in America, I share my greetings and best wishes for a wonderful conference. The conference topic is a very important one, and I am sorry that I cannot be there this year to share in the study and discussion.
May the Holy Ones who are the Inner Founders of the theosophical communities be with you during this very special time.
Barbara B. Hebert, Ph.D.,
Theosophical Society in America
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
On the occasion of your 2017 conference I send my heart felt greetings and wishes for a successful gathering. It is fitting that this year you are in Philadelphia, literally “the City of Brotherly Love” – a city founded to be a haven from religious persecution.
May the harmony of time together attract the presence of those who can bless and inspire.
Peace and blessings,
A Nucleus of Universal Brotherhood, – World’s Healing Force – Bringing harmony to a divided humanity by studying and working together
Humanity, ‘the great orphan’ needs love and care. Good will alone cannot help much, and motivation, from the good to the best, ought to be realised in action in order to be effective. Love and care are the medicines for the great orphan’s suffering. These can be provided by a group of people who to some extent have undergone the process of suffering and therefore have understood how to heal themselves. Healing oneself is healing the others because in a way oneself and the others are the same. Such a group of people named as ‘a Nucleus of Universal Brotherhood’ is taking the challenge to go beyond division, hatred, obscurantism, through studying, understanding, and through the effort of working together, whilst looking in the same direction. Let us be among this Nucleus and extend it.
The West Los Angeles Theosophical Study Group, and the Mystery of the Buddha (Moorpark, CA) Study Group, send fraternal greetings to the 19th Annual Conference of the ITC. May the harmony of your studies together foster a greater sense of that Universal Brotherhood for which the Theosophical Society was founded.
