About Erwin
My name is Erwin Bomas. I have been a student of Theosophy since 2004. I have been an active member and Board member of ITC since 2009.
I strongly believe in ITC's purposes. The Theosophical Movement is like a family tree. And, as is the case with family, to understand how you relate, you look for the common ancestor. The same applies to Theosophical organizations and Theosophists. We can always relate, starting from the principles we share, as presented by H.P.B. and her Teachers. At ITC, we exchange our understanding of these principles and inspire one another with ideas to present them to the public, uplifting the whole of humanity.
It would be a privilege to serve on the ITC Board for another term.
About Bianca
My name is Bianca Peeters.
For the past twelve years I have served on the board of ITC and it would be an honor to serve ITC as a board member for another term.
I fully support the endeavors of ITC as presented in the Purposes because I see all activities in the light of Theosophy as the actions from one Theosophical Movement at large. For this timeless movement to be able to really impact the buddhic core of every being, it is essential that there is sincere, honest and respectful communication between theosophists of every background. ITC is offering a platform for Theosophists from all walks of life to meet and communicate, thus realizing cross-pollination amongst individuals who are looking for ways to help mankind realize the Unity of all that exists and understand that this offers the potential for the world, as was explained by the Masters through H.P.B. The ITC platform can be a powerful expression of practicing Unity.
Over the years the ITC conferences have developed into meetings where participants experience that they are part of this ONE Theosophical Movement and can explore together how they can make Theosophy a much-needed stronger living power in the world.
As a result of the yearly conferences individuals from different theosophical backgrounds are inspired to build relationships and organize joint activities. I want to do whatever is necessary to support this process of growing cooperation and cross-pollination.
There is still a long way to go for mankind to bring out their buddhic qualities and this indicates the heavy and important duty that theosophists have. To be able to carry out our task, we need each other, we need to be United in Spirit. ITC wants to help facilitate this process and I hope to support that as a member and serving on the board.
About Herman
When I first participated in ITC (2007), it was clear to me that a global theosophical platform connecting all Theosophists would be essential to make available "Theos-Sophia," the Wisdom of the Gods, as it was republished in 1875 by Blavatsky and her Teachers.
Since 2007, significant work has been undertaken to transform the ITC initiative into a robust organization with established bylaws, a clear purpose, and a defined membership.
ITC aims to be a platform for theosophists. ITC welcomes theosophists from all Theosophical organizations and those interested in theosophy to learn together, grow in their understanding of the teachings, and deepen their knowledge.
Together, we build this awareness among theosophists. Over the last few years, with considerable cooperation, ITC has been available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and our reach has since increased significantly. To further expand and strengthen our activities, we require a solid board.
For this, the Board must function as a unified entity. Like the fingers of one hand are aware of their responsibility to the soul of the organization. The board inspires members and exemplifies compassion, dedication, and discipline.
As Theosophists, I do not see it as our responsibility whether people want to become Theosophists or not. However, it is our responsibility to ensure that people are aware of the existence of theosophical teachings, so they may have the opportunity to study them.
There is much more work to be done. One of the main tasks of the Board for the coming years will be to strengthen our relationship, optimize communication, and identify areas where members can be actively involved in the work.
I would be pleased to have the opportunity to contribute as a board member for another three years to help realize this and any other tasks.
