In December 2014 Maria Orlich Soto, President Representative of The Theosophical Society (Adyar) in Costa Rica asked the editors of Lucifer the Lightbringer permission to translate the issue with the Seven Jewels of Wisdom. Lucifer is the English magazine of the TS Point Loma Blavatskyhouse.
The Seven Jewels of Wisdom are seven basis teachings which provide a beautiful overview and the depth of Theosophy, but at the same time, they are very practical. Of course, and with joy, the editors of Lucifer gave permission for the Spanish translation.
Two years later, partly due to Herman C. Vermeulen’s (TS Point Loma) visit to the 38th European Theosophical Congress (Adyar) in Barcelona, there were quite a few contacts between Spanish-speaking Theosophists and members of the TS Point Loma. Then the idea arose to publish this Spanish Lucifer. You can find it on www.blavatskyhouse.org. Several Spanish-speaking people have informed the editors that they are very happy with this cooperation. We think that many will follow them.
